CuSO4 ·5H2O - Properties: It is pale blue crystalline granulum, saccharoidal
(Dia: 2-4mm), soluble in water, glycerin, fluid ammonia, not
soluble in anhydrous ethanol, solution of copper sulfate present
acidity .
- Usage: It can be used for textile mordant, agricultural insecticide,
germicide material, forage additive, copper plating. A great
deal of it can be used for flotation in non-ferrous metal, boat
painting industry,pharmacy and chemical materials.
